Q1: Where can I buy KNP caps?
A: We ship directly from our warehouse in Grand Island, NY. We process all orders from this location as well.

Q2: Do you have minimums?
A: We don't have minimums but our pricing structure is designed to encourage lots of 24. This is a labor issue as most of our styles are packed in two-dozen increments. Ultimately, though, you may order whatever quantity you want.

Q3: How soon will my order ship?
A:

KNP Headwear guarantees all orders that are received prior to 3:00pm on weekdays will ship the same business day provided no outstanding concerns such as stock availability, past-due accounts, etc. Orders received after 3:00pm will be shipped the next business day.

Please note that on the last business day of each month, our cut off time is 2:30pm so we may process month-end paperwork.

Q4: Do you have a sales rep in my area?
A:

We employ a number of multi-line representatives throughout the United States. To find out if there is one near you, simply call our toll-free number during normal business hours and we will help you locate the correct representative. If one is not available in your area, our customer service department will serve your needs.

We encourage you to form a working relationship with your representatives as they can work with you to find solutions to problems, make recommendations based upon their experiences, and present solutions you might not have thought of.

Finally, if you have a representative in your area, they are responsible for determining if you should receive any special pricing discounts.

Q5: Do you accept returns?

A:

Yes, we accept returns that are made within 30 days and a Return Authorization Number is required. This R/A number ensures our warehouse staff accepts the return shipment.

Returns are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee and no refund for freight. If it is determined that the return is caused by error on our part, these terms will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

We do not take returns on samples.

Q6: Do you embroider or silkscreen?

A:

We can certainly arrange the service for you or direct you to an embroiderer or a screen printer near you. Our customer service department will be more than happy to work out the details and arrange for you on such issues.

Q7: Do you sell U.S.A.-made caps?

A:

Our inventory is all produced overseas, except for one style of knit cap produced in Canada.

Q8: Do you offer a sample kit?

A:

We have found that every customer has their own unique market, so we are always happy to work together with you to assemble a kit designed to meet your needs. Sample kits are charged at the same rate as our price list.

Q9: Does KNP Headwear ever put hats on sale?

A:

By adding your name to our e-mail list, we will send you an email with our specials every month. These items are mainly in stock items that are being offered at a particular discount. However, you have to order in lots of two dozen to receive the special pricing.

These monthly specials are only available through the e-mail.

Q10: How do I set up an account with KNP Headwear and/or get terms?

A:

Just placing an order with us will automatically let you set up an account. Terms can be established by sending us a list of credit references for our credit checking and the whole process can be done in one to two weeks.

Q11: What are your payment options?

A:

We accept all major credit cards namely MasterCard, Visa and American Express. To pay by credit cards, we do require a form to be filled out and faxed or e-mailed to us (this is a requirement of our credit card company). We can NOT process credit card orders without the form.

We can also ship C.O.D., Certified Check or Money Order.

Q12: Do you sell anything other than what are shown in your catalog?

A:

We may add new styles during the year, which you would be notified of via the web site and e-mail (another good reason to join our e-mail specials list). The catalog represents the expected new product for the year as well as all existing product lines, and is usually up to date.

Q13: What shipping methods do you use?

A:

We ship through Federal Express, Federal Express-Ground (formerly RPS Ground) and UPS.

Q14: Do you have a "Panel Program"?

A:

As our caps are manufactured overseas, sending the front two panels of the cap to our customer to be embroidered is prohibitive.

Q15: Do you provide custom-made headwear?

A:

We provide high-quality overseas production of headwear at very competitive rates. The lead-time for custom-made order is around 90 days from placement of the order and receipt of 50% deposit.

Our overseas facilities have been in operation since the late sixties, and employ highly skilled craftsmen in the apparel industry. We have manufactured headwear for major brand names as well as major advertising campaigns.

Q16: Do you attend any of the tradeshows?

A:

Yes, we attend an average of eight trades shows a year for such organizations as A.S.I., P.P.A.I. and The Imprinted Sportswear Show. These shows are very useful tools for seeing our customers and getting feedback from you. We cannot operate in a vacuum; we need to know how you feel about our service, our products, and our marketing.

Only by hearing from you, the customer, can we meet your needs effectively and with enthusiasm.

Q17: Do you sell youth or toddler hats?

A:

We sell a few styles for the youth market, all of which are six-panel low-profile caps. We do not sell toddler caps.
